Review : Revolution Face Sculpt Duo and Nicka K HD concealer
So, I was looking for a subtle highlighter/contouring palette that would be appropriate for light contouring, you know, everyday college look and I came across this Revolution Duo Sculpt pan which was also happened to be on sale and didn’t look too fancy so I bought this and I have been wanting to try the L.A Girl concealer and I came across this brand called Nicka K and the packing seemed so similar and I heard a good word about it from some of my seniors too and it was a tad bit cheaper than the L.A Girl version so I got that too.
Now, coming to the contouring pan, the pigmentation is really light and not AS effective as the shimmery highlighters of course but these matte ones are especially good if you want a dewy look. However, the light shade did not seem to work THAT well on me but the darker shade did have enough pigmentation. I might purchase it again just for the very soft contouring it provides but I might give a double thought to it.
Now, the concealer, I bought it in the shade ‘Light Brown’ and I promise, I might have to get another one before I leave for college because the shade suits me perfectly. Although, I am not a big fan of the brush tip applicator but it prevents getting too much product out. I use used the applicator to spot the blemishes and later dab with my fingers to even it out. Guys, the staying power is quite good, the formulation is beautiful but, the best part is the coverage, The only downside it, the applicator, I find it really tough to press down the applicator and squeeze the product out at the same it. Will I buy it again? Absolutely.
